ByteBuddy Academy provides technology tutoring and compliance advisory services. When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means ByteBuddy Academy. Our primary contact is hello@bytebuddyacademy.com.

We only collect information you provide directly to us through our contact and compliance intake forms:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number or WhatsApp number (if provided)
- Your organisation name, industry, and size (compliance intake only)
- Your message or the answers you provide in the compliance questionnaire
We do not use cookies for tracking, run advertising networks, or collect any data passively beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited) that are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
3. How we use your information
Information submitted via our forms is used solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry or service request
- Prepare and deliver a compliance assessment or tutoring proposal
- Communicate with you about the services you have requested
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. How we store your information
Form submissions are delivered to us via encrypted email (TLS in transit). We do not maintain a database of form submissions on our web server. Information retained in our email systems is stored securely and accessible only to authorised team members.
5. How long we keep your information
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was provided, or for a maximum of 24 months from the date of your last interaction with us, whichever is sooner. You may request deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

7. Third-party services
Our website uses the following third-party services to function:
- Google Fonts — to load our typefaces. Google may log your IP address when fonts are fetched.
- Unsplash / Google — images embedded on the site. Viewing these may result in your IP being logged by those services.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioural tracking scripts.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
